Beating the Beauty Budget Blues
When it comes to the credit crunch, women are prepared to cut down on beauty expenses to save their pennies. In a survey carried out by Opinion Research Corporation for Skintimate, statistics revealed that more than 40 percent of American women were prepared give up their beauty treatments when the funds were running low.
While beauty treatments can become costly, a little indulgence in luxury treats can be achieved without breaking your piggy bank.
Skintimate suggests, “prioritizing your morning beauty routine and establishing what you refuse to lose.” Look for products that give you a sense of luxury, and that will last longer than a treatment at the day spa.
Results from their survey also showed that most women agreed that hair removal was a top beauty practice. So instead of that morning latte, rather indulge in a moisturizing shaving cream that makes you feel pampered without feeling poorer.
