What is Berylliosis?

Berylliosis is a lung disease characterized by breathlessness at rest and coughing, caused by inhaling dust or fumes containing beryllium, a metal used in a variety of industries, including electronics and ceramics. Attacks are usually short-lived and clear up of their own accord.
