Cellulite Treatments

In the current day and age of modern cosmetic marvels, it is not too much to ask to get rid of cellulite and treat it effectively on an ongoing basis. There are several products that will help you attain your goals of cellulite-freedom, as well as simple steps in an overall program of cellulite therapy that will make the most of your efforts to blast this spongy looking scourge!

There are a few new innovative products out there that claim to reduce cellulite. Among some of the more unusual products are cellulite shoes, cellulite shorts and underwear, cellulite jeans, and a roller type mechanical handheld machine.

The most effective solution to cellulite so far is a rather costly and inconvenient therapy called endermology. It's very effective at breaking down the fat deposits that cause the “cottage cheese” effect, but it can be mildly painful and very expensive over the long haul.

Want to get comparable results to endermology? Here are some suggestions:

1. Get yourself a good cellulite treatment in gel or cream form. It should contain caffeine for the best outcome.

2. Cut out the carbonation and caffeine in your diet. These are thought to contribute to the appearance and severity of cellulite.

Exercise 3. EXERCISE! Moderate exercise is important, since one of cellulite’s biggest enemies is good circulation, and circulation is always much better in active people.

Experiment: Have you noticed you bruise much more easily in the same areas you have cellulite? Try vigorously kneading the effected area — you will probably notice some bruising the next day. It's a medical fact that people bruise more easily in areas where there is impaired circulation. These are the precise areas where most women get cellulite!

4. Massage your problem areas with your cream or gel — and don't be too gentle. Make sure the massage is vigorous and fairly high pressure. This will adequately stimulate the circulation in your problem areas, and help break up the fat deposits and collagen bands holding those fat deposits together, effectively minimizing your trouble areas. A good tip I learned from a massotherapist is to take your knuckles and press into your problem areas (thighs) in an upward stroking motion toward your upper body. You may notice a little bruising, but that's ok; this means you did your job!

The tools to rid your body of cellulite are very accessible and inexpensive. It just takes time, a little money, and some determination.

Cellulite Treatment
In layman’s language cellulite is nothing but fat cells being trapped by fibers that have formed a network. These fibers are constantly cleansed by body fluids and poor circulation retards this cleansing process. The result is disastrous. Waste materials accumulate; they slowly thicken and become hard pockets of immovable fat. This is what causes the “orange peel effect” or dimpling as it is often called. Feeling of heaviness or tightness in the legs, tenderness when pressed or massaged is common. That is the downside of cellulite. The good news is that it is not a disease or illness in the real sense of the word, but a sign that your lifestyle is unhealthy. Read more…
