Detoxing is a great way to clean out your digestive system and get your body back to optimal functioning. When detoxing, you are removing any toxic substances from your body for general health.
A good detox plan should be followed for no more than three weeks and should include foods that help to clean the colon, enhance circulation and clear out the accumulation of toxic substances.Nuts and Seeds
Nuts and seeds are great for improving digestion. Try almonds, cashews and walnuts. Sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and flax seeds can be sprinkled over most meals. Stay away from peanuts and remember to stock up on nuts that are unsalted.
