What is Ear Candling?A candle is placed in your ear with an air-flow filter. It's then lit to draw out any wax a bit like a vacuum. You'll hear a crackling sound as the candle burns. Ear candling is apparently good for headaches, wax build-up, rhinitis, stress and tinnitus. According to medical researchers, however, ear candling is both dangerous and ineffective. Claims that the practice removes earwax have been thoroughly debunked. Read: Ear Candling: Is It Safe? |
