Best Hair Care for Fine Hair

In most societies, thick hair is considered beautiful hair. Unfortunately, we all weren't born with those thick luxurious locks that everyone raves about. Some of us have naturally fine hair.

Despite the fact that fine hair may be limp and lack body, it can look very lovely if it is treated with natural pre-shampoo and after-shampoo conditioners, as these give added thickness and "body" to the strands.

Fine hair needs to be treated very gently. Use a soft bristle brush with rounded ends on the bristles. Don't expose it to too much wind or strong sunlight. Don't overcolor, overperm or overbleach as fine hair becomes brittle and breaks easily.

Avoid frequent use of hair rollers or styles where the hair is tightly pulled back or fastened into elastic bands as this can stress the delicate structure of the hair.

Fish oil, in addition to a multivitamin, can work wonders for your hair. And, of course, get your calcium for healthy bones, teeth, nails, and hair.
