Centaury Herb
Every
medicine cupboard should contain this remedy either in powder, tincture
or tea form, says Rolf Stühmer in his book The Big Book of Health.
“It is well-known as aromatic bitters with a wide range of uses. On the one hand, it is helpful as a remedy for all kinds of metabolic disorders, gastroenteritis, digestive complaints, congestion of the liver and gall bladder and for circulatory insufficiency. On the other, it is a powerful tonic after an infection. It is also very well-established as a remedy for cramps.’’
Drink one cup in the morning and evening of an infusion (about 30 grams to one liter of water) and either sweeten or dilute to taste, recommends Stühmer.
