How to Wear Animal Prints

Animal print is popping up all over the fashion circuit and as stylish and sophisticated as it may look on top models, it can quickly and easily turn into a fashion disaster.

So how do you wear animal print with style? Animal print is just one of those fashion items that seems to go in and out of fashion, almost all the time.

Animal print already makes a fashion statement all in itself and is no doubt, an attention grabber of note. So, it is important to not overdo the animal print, or you will look too cluttered. If you are going to wear animal prints, avoid wearing the print from head to toe. Tone down the look with just a hint of animal print, either worn as a top, pair of pants or even small items like animal print head bands, scarves and bracelets, which can finish off any look with class and sophistication.

Whatever you do, don't combine animal prints; you don't want to look like a zookeeper that has just been attacked by a gazillion animals. If you're wearing cheetah, stick to cheetah only. The same applies to zebra and leopard.

A gorgeous leopard print coat can really jazz up a plain, little black dress. And a pair of cheetah print shoes can really add a touch of style and glamour to plain black jersey and jeans. Red is anther bold color that compliments animal print very nicely.

Chiffon animal print tops are really sexy. When coupled with a plain black vest and a flash of skin, these can really look sexy and seductive.

So go on, unleash your inner feline.
