Ill-Fitting Shoes Cause Foot Problems
Seventy percent of foot problems are caused by poorly made, ill-fitting shoes, and fifty percent of today's podiatrists and physiotherapists would be out of a job if people simply wore the correct shoes.
This is not surprising since the average number of steps a person takes in one day is 18,000; 10,000 is the minimum for good health.
The amount of "wriggle room" experts say should be allowed at the toe of well-fitting shoes is 1 cm.
