What is Lambert-Eaton Syndrome?

A neuromuscular disorder in which nerve cells fail to release sufficient amounts of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. It is often associated with the type of lung cancer known as small cell carcinoma.

The main symptom is profound muscle weakness in the trunk and limbs.
