Muffins: A Bad ‘Diet’ Food
If you thought muffins were harmless, think again!
Although they may seem healthy, the truth is that they’re loaded with carbohydrates, oil, sugar, and are not a good source of vitamins. At close to 500 calories each, the gargantuan sugar-laden muffins found in most coffeehouses and bakeries today are no better for you than a huge slice of birthday cake.
Give up your muffins and opt for some whole-grain toast with sugar free jam instead.
