How Obesity Affects Women
Persistent obesity does not appear to have any adverse effects on the social status, education, income or relationships of men, although it does on women. A study published in the British Medical Journal showed that women who were persistently obese were 90 percent more likely to never have been gainfully employed and 100 percent more likely to not have a current romantic partner.
