Secondhand Smoke May Cause Snoring
Secondhand smoke may cause snoring. When Swedish researchers analyzed more than 15,000 people, those with daily exposure to secondhand smoke snored a third more than their clean-breathing peers.
"The snoring may result from inflammation or toxic effects on nerves in the upper airways," says study author Dr. Karl Franklin.
