Time Management Tips: Get Time On Your Side
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were more hours in a day? More time to do the one hundred and one things you have
planned to get done all in one day? With the stresses of everyday life and both sexes working for nine hours a day
it’s sometimes difficult to get time on your side. How do some people do it? Well, they have mastered the art of
time management, and in this article we’ll show you how to do just that and add a few hours to your own clock.
Get listed
One of the most important and most effective tools in time management is writing down all your tasks and ticking
them off as you go along. Putting it all down on paper and giving each task an estimated time frame, will help you
organize your day and actually get the stuff you need finished done on time.

Prioritize
Remember to put the most important tasks at the top of your list. Get through those in order of importance and
work your way down the list to the lesser important tasks.
One at a time
When you have a lot on your plate, it's easy to take a few shortcuts or do more than one thing at a time. Try to
avoid this whenever possible. Work on each task separately and allow time to concentrate only on that task. This
will eliminate any unnecessary errors that may arise and you’ll be surprised at how much faster things get done when
you just do them, one at a time with complete focus.
Delegate
Don’t be afraid to delegate. You don’t have to do absolutely every single little thing yourself. Delegate some
of the tasks to colleagues, husbands, wives, kids, friends etc., provided that they can handle it. Delegating helps
you lessen your workload whenever possible and allows you to focus on the task at hand.
