What is Typhus?
One of a number of infectious diseases caused by Rickettsial organisms, transmitted by lice, ticks or mites, and featuring fever, shivering, headache, general aches, cough, constipation, a mottled rash, delirium, prostration, heart failure, stupor and sometimes coma and death.
