Being Underweight Makes You Look Old
Being underweight could add years to your looks, say researchers from Case Western Reserve University in the US. They discovered women below a 'normal' BMI looked between two and four years older than heavier counterparts.
It's important to maintain a healthy weight. Many women over 40 who lose weight notice more wrinkles or looser skin as a result, so ensure your diet is full of food that's good for your skin.
Eat eggs, as they contain lecithin to help build cell walls, so skin doesn't lose so much water. Oily fish is good too, as the omega-3 fatty acids plump up your complexion and help cells repair themselves.
