Your Wedding Rehearsal
It's your special day, the day you've been dreaming about since you were a little girl and you want everything to be perfect.
On your wedding day, the last thing you want to worry about is whether Uncle Tom arranged for your wedding car to pick you up for the church or whether Aunt Sue has picked up your bouquet from the florist. However, these little things are very important and need to be clarified before your wedding takes place.
The best way to ensure everything gets done is to plan a small get together, rehearsal dinner or brunch for the wedding party to ensure that everyone is aware of their duties. Don't assume that things will be taken care of, or you'll find yourself doing the running around on your big day.
Your wedding rehearsal will help you to focus on the smaller details of your wedding and iron out any problems you may be faced with. Pick a good time and place for the rehearsal to ensure that everyone who needs to be present can attend. A lot of the times, the rehearsal dinner happens on the Friday night or the night before the wedding, which is usually a good time as your wedding party is generally in nearby distances.
Make notes for all involved parties, outlining their duties and ensure that they are clear with what you want. Bring props along, such as a bouquet and ring bearer pillows so that the smaller members of your bridal party can practice their duties.
