What Is a Footbath?
A footbath is, as the name suggests, a bath for the feet. Ideally the bath should be deep enough to cover the calves of the legs as well.
Footbaths can ease the pain of aching feet, stimulate circulation, ease tension headaches, lessen the symptoms of colds and influenza and relax the nervous system. Cold footbaths will soothe tired feet and help to stop nosebleeds.
